No first gen love there. Let us know if you have some interesting general rotary articles or 1st gen articles. I'm tired of seeing FD builds myself.

We are doing 1st gen shoots and feature cars as well we are also looking for clean FBs to put in there

Not a fan of having to log in to read a few articles. This just begs of a subscription service and marketing emails. Not for me.

Kudos for even trying guys! If you want to tap into the first gen culture (which is pretty varied on its own), maybe give us some idea of what you are after and want to support. There are prob some interesting stories to be told from members here.
Don't envy trying to cover the entire scope of the Rotary Experience - that covers a LOT of variety, and in many ways we are all kind of "niche" players in our own little corner of the Passion of Rotary.
That said, I for one subscribe to prob 5 PRINT car mags and if ONE of them prints a rotary article in a year I consider that a score so….?

I'm behind anything that boosts up rotor culture, and especially efforts that spread some first-gen love.

That said, I can't seem to find a way to sign up for the "basic" subscription; the sign-up page doesn't give an option for it.

I'm not impressed.

This "rotary" magazine has about as much to do with 1st gen RX-7s as Ford has to do with Toyota.

Here in the 1st gen section we're a culture of owners and drivers, not show offs.

It would be worth a read now and then if it were free, but not worth $10/month, $120/year.

Do I detect some commercialism going on here trying to cash in on a free forum?

You might want to try the 3rd gen section, those guys have more money to waste.

Its the pride of driving a 31+ year old car that's still running, and the only thing that does not work is the rear window wiper.

Its the 18 year-old working the Taco Bell drive through and says with excitement "Is that an RX7?"

Its the older guy on his motorcycle who pulls up next to you at a stop light and says "That's a pretty car."

Its taking the long way home just to Drive, not to get anywhere.

There is a connection between us and our 1st gens which cannot be purchased.

Awwww Guys. Come on now. There is a lot of blood and sweat -and love- that goes into putting something like this together. Some praise for the intent, if not (yet) the execution! I can just about guarantee that a niche magazine like this is NOT being undertaken for the Fabulous Wealth that will be reaped. These folks have made a real attempt at doing something that is hard, and in most cases, tough to make a go at. Personally, I would WANT to be made aware of something rotary-related being posted here. Where better to go for announcing the attempt than a rotary _Forum_?

They have just (that I can see) posted ONE story. And, by the luck of the draw, this FIRST story was about a 3rd Gen. So should the 1st & 2nd Gener's **** all over them for that? Well, if the intent was a _3rd Gen-only_ magazine, then, well, a kindly "no thank you" is understandable.

Yes we do all love our cars. And we celebrate them in our own ways, and we love it when others celebrate it with us, at the gas pump, a stop light, or even a tribute magazine. Lets at least see what they do, and offer at least some moral support for the effort.

Thanks for the effort of making a rotary only mag. Maybe Link/Page Sponsorship instead of a subscription model would suit the rotary community better.
