Will I run lean?

Engine is like 10 miles away from being broken in and I'm planning to hook up a Hallman MBC, and turn the boost up to around 11-12psi.

- Stock IC
- Hybrid Turbo from Majestics
- FD fuel pump (so the p/o says, his credibility means **** to me now)
- 550's all the way around
- Superstreet port engine (bridgeport)

I'm want to be sure I can't run lean when I turn the boost up. Ito from JR's told me to run 720's on secondaries, but the problem is I can't find any 720 high impedance injectors around.

FPR? Injectors? Fuel pump?

So what do you guys think? I want to be able to run a nice level of boost w/o worrying about the lean mixture.

you say 10 miles away. away from what mileage.
highly suggest getting those 720's. fuel pump should be ok for now. a FPR might hold you over till you get the injectors.
hope you have a boost guage and FCD. good luck.
P.S.-- i've had my car for a year and a half and i'm going on my third motor.

Well I have a G-force ecu, and what not.

Problem is finding 720 high impedance injectors. Where in the hell can I find a pair?

No proper BP will run on a stock ECU.

i had my 550's bored out by RC engineering. wasn't cheap tho.

bored injectors are expensive. get some 850cc's

OK, I have high impedance as secondaries..

The only ones I can find are low impedance's, but is it possible I can switch to the lows without problems?

nah, low impedence injectors will burn up to quick and i don't think the ecu will work with them correctly unless you wire in a resitor block or make your own (10watt/10ohm resistors).
and 850's are just as hard to get as 720's. actually, i had mine bored to 850's.

Ok, so what alternatives do I have?

-I get 550's and have them bored to 850's by RC

Or..? Something else?

Its real easy to wire in some resistors with high imp 720's. You should be ok with 550's and 720's at around 10psi. Make sure you rewire the fuel pump to make sure you have the right voltage to the pump. I wouldn't run more than 10psi boost on the stock intercooler, your intake temps are going to get to high.

I have 550's and 720's with a hybrid on a FMIC and I see A/R's in the mid to high 11's runnig 10psi.

I'm looking at more fuel now though.

I don't know how to wire ****, the quickest and simplest way will help the most.

So I'm stuck at spending money to have the injectors bored?

11psi too much for 550's all around?

Easiest and cheepest way would be to make the resistor pack.

What you might try doing is going to a junkyard and trying to find the resistor back off a trashed car. If you can find one then you're set!

you don't use resistors with high impedence injectors. you are supposed to use a 10watt/10ohm resistor with low impedence injectors. the FC's that came with low impedence injectors had a resistor pack that had resistors built into it for the low impedence injectors. I opted to have my high impedence 550 bored out becuase it was easier and there was no ghetto rigging things to make low impedence injectors to work. and now i can swap injectors around withought having to worry about high and low impedence.
