Take the connector off the oil pressure sensor and keep it off anything that will ground it, then turn the key on. What happen. Needle still pegs or not move at all?

Ok, Is that the sensor on top of the car? Right near the coolant cap? Which one is that, because that one has been off for a while......

Nope, oil pressure sensor is this shiny thing right under the oil filter (mount), on the rear driver's side of the engine.&nbsp You'll see a wire coming out of the "top" of the sensor with a weird 90-degree connector.

I'm having the same problem.

It just goes all the way past the highest mark on the gauge and just chills there. I need that homeboy to come down and gimme some good readings, jk.

I might as well get a aftermarket. I'm too lazy to fix it. I'm pretty sure this gauge isn't all that accurate anyways.

HAHAHAHA..... Mazda Factory Gauges.... My buddy replaced the 0 ring seals in the oil cooler(85gsl). He took out the oil sensor in the proccess. The gauge said he was running 110 psi for like a week after, then it slowly got better.
