y is my oil pressure guage sticking on my guage cluster? it worked fine for a while and now just goes all the way up past all the numbers and stays there. then comes down after a few seconds when the car is off. is there something wrong with the car? should i be worried? what can i check and fix?

Nope, oil pressure sensor is this shiny thing right under the oil filter (mount), on the rear driver's side of the engine.  You'll see a wire coming out of the "top" of the sensor with a weird 90-degree connector.

I'm having the same problem.
It just goes all the way past the highest mark on the gauge and just chills there. I need that homeboy to come down and gimme some good readings, jk.
I might as well get a aftermarket. I'm too lazy to fix it. I'm pretty sure this gauge isn't all that accurate anyways.
