hi guys, my car started making some screeching sounds 3 weeks ago. 3 weeks ago, it would happen only when the car is started. It would then go away after about 5 minutes. Now it happens while I am driving. There seem to be 2 sounds. The first one sounds like a high pitched supercharger sound, even tho i don't have a supercharger. The second just sounds like metal o metal. Its an unpredictable sound. Please someone help. I don't want engine to explode

 

Hmmm, could be a belt problem (squeeling) and input shaft bearing problem (metal on metal).

 

I have the same screeching problem on start up too.
I think it is a belt problem, I just have no idea what belt it is

 

I would just replace them all, not that much to replace cost wise.

 

does it stop when you press in your clutch? i have a weird noise like a squeel and then metal on metal i found out it was my throwout bearing

 

sounds like the belt needs to be tightened.

Spray some Slicone Spray Lubricant on the belts.
