Where does this hose goe (with pic)

I was recently snooping around my engine bay to find the source of a hissing sound at higher rpms. I looked behind the drivers side and felt some hoses for snugness. They where all good, but then I found one that wasn't attached to anything. Before connecting it to where I think it goes, I wanted to see what it was for and if it really goes there. Thanks in advance.

You've circled the bleed screw for the clutch slave cyl. so no hose is suppose to attach to it!

The line you have there looks fine - the circled nipple on the right is a bleeder valve.. It needs no hose.

If i missed what you were asking for - let me know, its hard to tell in that pic.

I apologize for misspelling go, I just want to fix this problem. I usually follow my instinct, but this time It looks like the hose is too long to go where I thought it should and there is a threaded place in the engine where it could reach. The only problem is that there is nothing threaded into where it should be and it is in a really hard to get to spot (see picture)

Please help.

So its good that I asked. The hose was just laying there connected to nothing. I cant really see anything besides the picture above that it could attach to. Would another picture help that would show the exact position of the hose?

The circle to the upper right is a bleeder valve for your clutch slave. No hose need, like the others said.

that threaded hole in the engine is not for that. Is that hose coming from the firewall? Is that supposed to be to your brake booster?

The hose originated from the charcoal canister, I need to know where the other end attaches to.

It is already attached to the canister, the other end (drivers side of the car) isn't attached to anything. I want to reconnect it to its origin.

i think the end you have in your hand goes to the purge control valve or under the oil pedestal.

The end that you have goes under the fuel lines to the oil filler tube at the rear, very hard to get to and see otherwise I would post a pic. You may have to take some time to take things apart to reatach it.

Ok, I found where it goes, thanks for the help guys. Unfortunately I cant get to it, mainly because of the oil filter. I will change my oil this weekend anyways, but is it bad for my engine to drive it until then?

No, like it was stated, not a big deal. Your car might smell a little gassy, but it's not going to blow up.

Ya its in that area, you have to really look for it (its probably coverd with grime) and once you find it I would recomend using a needle nosed pliers or wrench to shimy it on there.
