Where can I find one of these?

I remember someone was making these tin pieces that go from the rad core support to the front bumper thats some what of a help to direct air to the rad. Does anyone have a template for one of these?


(sorry for the bad picture)

For the price corksport charges for the radiator shroud, your just better off buying a sheet of carbon fiber. Even better yet just get a sheet of aluminum with some side cutters. And measure away.

Scrap Aluminum from metal shop ($6) + grinder wheel ($0.80) = rad shroud.

Make a cardboard template first and use that to cut the final piece out of aluminum. Dress up the edges of the piece and with a little spray paint, it will look like this:

Thanks! Yeah, I made that.

Biggest problem was finding a suitable gauge of aluminum sheet. Ended up ordering a sheet on line from McMaster-Carr (http://www.mcmaster.com/) and it wasn't cheap. The key was making the template out of light cardboard first. That revealed all the small mistakes I made in size and shape before actually cutting/finishing the final piece. I have modified it a couple of times--once to install the hood pins. Give it a go. If you like creating things, you will enjoy doing it. Be sure to round the edges with a fine file to give it a professional look. Good luck!
