What's it worth

Black 91 used to be an auto converted to 5-speed

Mods: apex'i intake, short shifter, dual exhaust, 2.5 inch straight pipes, no air pump, system, tint, Nitrous express kit.

Problems: Currently the speedometer is broken. I had a new clutch put in and the speedo stopped working as did the odometer. The mileage reads 70,000 but it actually has more like 73k-74k im told it's just a disconnected cable. Also there are you normal dints and dings. And a scratch in the hood.

I'd say around $2,500 (nothing like a series 5)

i say without the nitrous kit u will still be able to pull 2.5k so maybe u can remove it and sell it separately.... IMHO...

Well i bought the car for 4k and put about 1,500 into it. I just would feel stupid if i sold it for $2,500 even if it is only worth that much. That's why im thinking about doing to Turbo swap.

I would do the swap. Or why not supercharge it? I am planning this for my N/A, using water injection with the standard 9.7 compression rotors.

I have wanted a turbo forever something about that bov just gets me. I mean say i sold it for 2.5k and then picked up a blown turbo II for 1,500. I could have the engine rebuilt from my guy and have one up and running with a streetport for only 2,500 then i could could put like 2k into mods. But if i kept mine and did the swap it'll prolly cost me around 2,300 to get everything done. I don't know what to do!!!!!!!

i notice you've tried to sell this ride a couple of times. sounds like you dig the car a lot considering you still have it if its in real good shape i would say just do a swap. you'll be able to sell/trade your NA parts and still have that same car.

good luck man

ya I was going to sell it and just get a turbo II. But i can't let it go for less than $3,500. Just can't let her go. I 'm prolly just going to see if i can pick up a parts car for cheap and do the swap.

from what i've seen, finding the S5 TII parts to do the swap for a good price is a little easier than finding a really good S5 TII.

at least thats what i'm doin.

There you go! There are T2's all over Ebay that need TLC or just basic rebuilds. I was kind of wondering why not just get a blown T2 for $800. Finding an S5 T2 won't be as easy, though. Blown 87 T2's seem to be all over the place but rarely do I see an 89 or later.

I can read your mind. DO THE SWAP

I can't believe how easy it is to work on an Rx-7. My Integra is a nightmare compared to this car. Look at this:
