whats up with my rear breaks?

just wondering y my passengerside rear brake won't let go all the way. i'll be drivong down the road and everything will be fine untill i use my brakes, when i let off of them the right rear one won't let go, i can still drive and all but u can feel it holding me back, then about half a mile later it will all of a sudden let go. do i need a new caliper? i tried bleeding the system but it did not help. if i do need a new one anyway i can discopnect just that brake that way it dosen't eat my rotor?

you might have a caliper that is stuck...see if you can compress it. I had the same problem with my front rotor

You could try tapping the caliper lightly with a soft-faced hammer. You should be able to get it to stick in the driveway after you jack it up. Maybe a few sticking and releasing sessions will free it up.

Why would you even ask if you can disconnect one of the brakes so it doesnt eat a rotor? Thats the ******* stupidest idea Ive heard.

i said that because i am a poor student, funds r hard to come by for my car, and would not want it to **** my rotor up and just have another part to buy. and now i got another problem, on my way up to N/O my oiol pressure gauge started acting up it would go all the way up and then back to normal till for some reasion just droped to the bottom and just stayed there, do the sending units die that fast?

-Shawn (i did check the wire too, to make sure it was still conected)
