Whats the difference between T/O bearings?

I looked at both mazdatrix and racing beats websites, and they are charging radically different prices between the S4 and S5 throwout bearings. The S5 bearings are like $22, while the S4 bearings are $45-$55. Why the 20+ dollar difference?

I didnt realize that they were even different! The input shafts of the S4 and S5 trannys are the same, right?

I just thought this was wierd...anyone have an idea why this is?

...I thought they were the same honestly, either the input shaft is a difiterent diameter at the location of the bearing, or it has dif specs...

Please read my question carefully - I am asking about S4 TII versus S5 TII. You are giving me an N/A versus TII answer.

Yes I can read... I also read that you have a N/A, but didnt catch that you had a T2 DriveTrain and I also noted "whatever tranny you have" Just trying to throw some advice that I myself have made mistakes with (using N/A T/O Bearings) both S4 and S5 tranny's are universal to N/A or T2 T/O bearings and is way worth it to buy the T2 T/O bearing... Sorry to throw some advice out there.

I'm not 100% sure but I think the shaft on the S5 Tranny's are larger.
