Looks like the fuel pump relay to me, hard to really tell without a closer picture.

Main relay. Controls 12V signal to both ignition coils, the fuel injectors, and a couple switches.

Tell you what. Since it's a stranded alone, just pull the two plugs off the Main Relay and see how things go. Simple as that.

I would keep it. Its purpose is to provide power rated contacts for the high current draw of the ignition coils and the fuel injectors. If you were to remove it, you would either replace it with other relays, which is pointless, or eliminate it and force the ignition key switch contacts to control the current, which would either burn them permanently open, or possibly, weld them shut. Either way, its a bad idea.
