Question What is this thing (some sort of air tube on intake)
What is this thing? This is on my NA S5, but my friend and I noticed it on his S4 (which is now supercharged). The blue and black whire thing is no longer plugged in on his car. What does it do?

AWS valve, cold start to 3000rpm momentarily to heat up precats for emissions.

OK. If I unplug that blue and black clip, will I disable the cold start and not harm anything else? I try not to let my AWS kick in by starting in gear.
