i had just recently completed a engine swap and there a a few connections that i over-looked.
THUMBNAIL #1... is a piece that i had found hanging. What does this connect to and what is it for?
THUMBNAIL #2... was found up by the firewall. what does this connect to and what is it for?
THUMBNAIL #3 and 4... is located between the intake manifold and firewall. its a connection that looks to be attached to the top of the tranny. What is this for and where does it get connected?
THUMBNAIL #5 and 6... is the oxygen sensor. could not find where to plug it in. could use some help.
If you can please point me in the right direction and let me know where these get connected to i would be such a great help. This was my first swap. The car is an 86 n/a GXL
Thanks

first one is the capacitor/condenser for the oil pressure gauge...it mounts under the trailing coil on by the slave cylinder. 2nd one is the ground wire for the engine/transmission (probably goes to the wire in the 4th pic).
Yeah, you got number 2,3,4 are all the same ground wire. You just pulled it off the donor car and left it on the new car. Only need to use it once. Get the one thats bolted to the transmission and plug it into where pic #2 is.
I'm pretty sure n/a and turbo is the same, but the o2 sensor plugs in under the intake manifolds on near the firewall on the wiring harness.

Thanks.. This has helped out a lot. It makes sense now. is the plug for the oxygen sensor easy to locate? with any of these not connected will it make the car run rough or funny...?

That's not the stock location for a stock 02 sensor whether the car is turbo or non turbo. IF there are more than one wire in that sensor, then it's not a narrow range 02 sensor and can't be attached to the stock 02 sensors wiring. The stock wiring will not reach that far back whether the car is non turbo or turbo. Fact is it does not even look like a narrow range 02 sensor at all.
The condenser bolts to one of the slave cylinders bolts but can be bolted just about anywhere as long as the place is a clean bonded surface. The other end of the black wire connects to a connector with a yellow red wire on it. Same color as the wire connected to the oil pressure sensor.
Kinda looks like a RacingBeat presilencer. Don't see how your going to pass California emissions.

Does look like a RB presilencer though and you wouldn't normally see the CS and RB parts together unless the rest of the exhaust is custom made.
