This car is a GTX, you can tell because of the power options, think of it as the equivilent of our TII, leather, AC were options. The GTR was the equivilent of our GX, GTU or Base, it had nothing in it for options, the GT-Limited had all of the options, all leather, digital logicon, premium sound with CD, etc. The Infini is most recoqnizable by the BBS wheels it came with, I think there is also some interior markings that signify Infini. The Infini I and II didn't come with the much improved seats though so you can't really use that as a way to pick out an Infini as a false. Eariler ones (I, II, III) also came in 4 colors with the latter one (IV) being avaiable in the dark greenish color only.

Hope that helps you out somewhat.

And Archangels is right, Savanna replaces Mazda on all RX-7s until the FD. Same goes for Infini. If you were to talk to someone from Japan, they would refer to the FC as the Savanna RX-7 or the Infini RX-7, not the Mazda RX-7 Savanna or the Mazda Infini RX-7. A similar example would be the RX-8, yea, its the Mazda RX-8, but the Mazdaspeed one is called the Mazdaspeed RX-8, not the Mazda Mazdaspeed RX-8...

I think you get the idea.

ahh so you bought that fc, i saw that the other day, i finally got my fc a few weeks ago - www.j-spec.com.au/list/2312 in alot better condition than i thought, i love it! word of advice though, change all the belts asap.. (my alternator belt shredded itself while i was on the freeway lol) spark plugs:put in bur7eq leading and bur9eq trailing, make sure the leads from the coils to the spark plugs are on the right plug (both me and j-spec experienced this.. created a very rough idle.) check your oils, change battery... and just the usual other ****, try and get a tune asap, mines getting tuned on friday.. cant wait!

btw are you on www.ausrotary.com ? i'm drft on there
EDIT: nvm i found you :P

cheers bryan

probibly shouldnt pull all of the wires off at the same time to change plugs, just one by one, or mark them
