OMP line question

so yea, i just bought a S4 chassis and threw in a S5 engine, i got all the wiring done and then i remembered that the S5 engine has an electrical oil metering pump... i called afew people and they told me to put on a S4 TB and S4 front cover. so i ge the parts, but i am missing the metal line that connects the OMP to teh TB. and i am curious what you guys suggest me to do. i have my S4 NA line but i dont think that it will work because the Turbo and NA TBs are in different locations. i havent put it all together yet becasue i need to pull the engine to remove the front cover. so any suggestions?

I don't suppose premixing is something you'd consider? Simple, reliable, burns cleaner, lubricates just as well or better...

I don't believe you need to pull the engine to pull the front cover, either. You should be able to do it by removing the fan, water pump, and radiator shroud. I *know* people have reset the front bearing stack with the engine in the car (http://www.mazdatrix.com/faq/pulley.htm - read, learn, or you'll damage bearings when you pull the front cover), so it's doable.

IIRC, the rod is just a long bent rod that pulls up on the actuator as the throttle opens. You could probably rig something up with some generic metal rod, or even a coat hanger for a short period.

Premix? Your engine will love you for it.
