what the hell is going on?

anytime i take a corner hard, and i mean flooring it halfway through the turn in any gear or any speed the car wont accerlerate, the rpms will sit there at 7,000rpm and wont go up and the feels like it wants to stall, but as soon as i let the clutch in it acts pefectly normal, like nothing ever happened, also this only happens when cornering hard, i can floor it in a straight line and it does just fine through every gear, also it only happens in left turns ive never gotten it to do that in a right turn, any ideas?

First thing would be, delete your double thread!

sounds like your rear end is going out. have you checked the fluid level or lack there of?

what model rx7 do you have? that would be alot of help.

Check the filter on your fuel pump (commonly called "the sock").

I agree on the fuel strainer on the end of the pump is varnished over or clogged with debris.

When you were replacing the fuel pump, did you look inside the tank at the pump baffles? I've heard of them rusting away, so the fuel gets pushed away from the pump by the momentum of the turn...
