What does this wire connect to??

If someone can tell me where this ground wire connects to I would greatly appreciate it. The A/C has been removed from this car, the radiator has been replaced with an aftermarket item, and the exhaust system has been replaced from the manifold back. TIA

That's a ground. On the TII it goes under one of the bolts holding on the UIM.

Strange Imprint on End of Wire.

I'm aware that this is a ground wire since the white connector end is attached to the firewall. It's the other end that is the mystery. It may, in fact, connect to the UIM or somewhere else on the upper part of the engine, and that's what I'm trying to figure out. The wire is too short to reach to the tranny housing.

See the image below. The strange imprint on the loose end may give someone a clue. Thanks for your imput.

It goes to the top of the transmission bell housing, on the passenger side. You should be able to see the tapped hole for it, its on the upper lip of the bell housing.

That was it, no doubt about it! Just a tapped hole with no bolt. Never would have found it without the help of Kung and Turbo. The previous owner had aftermarket clutch and flywheel installed and the ground wire was probably not reinstalled at that time. Now that it's fixed I can sleep tonight. Thanks again.
