You know that "chunk of black Hash" with the Eyelet in it..that connects to the Firewall/Ground?(sometimes connects to one of the Clutch slave bolts)
that is IT.

EDIT:
It is the Condenser,capacitor,diode..Whatever you wish to call it.. for the oil gauge.
actually,I just found a thread with a pic..just posted.

Im talking about the long plug... its longer than any of the ecu plugs. Looks like it might go in the fuse box area?

Yellow.

I just realized this is a diagram of the wrong harness. Im talking the engine harness. The first plug past the 2 ecu plugs. Looks like about 12 or 14 wires

There is no Engine harness plug near the ECU of that size. You must be referring to either the Front harness or the Emission Harness and likely the Front harness. In the FSM wiring diagram there is an illustration of each harness at the very end of the document.

I got it. The dash plug for an s5 goes to fem 1 and 2. Now I gotta chase all these wires back. Strange nobody has done a write up on this yet. I guess people like to take the easy route out. I wanna use this s5 ecu so im gonna go for it.
