hey for you guys with os giken clutches. what is the pedal pressure like? one guy on here said it was very stiff. i thought twin plate clutches had close to oem pedal pressure. thanks

yes, and we all have Takata seatbelts...

a lot of parts come from the same manufacturers, only the aftermarket parts are completely different specs

Yep, OEM clutches are made by exedy.
I have an ACT pressure plate and OEM clutch on my NA and it worked beautifully. On my turbo I have a Exedy stage 1 and it also works beautifully, but I'm about to bridgeport the motor so I gotta upgrade the clutch.
Does anyone have any experience with Spec clutches and pressure plates? They are sold at rx7store.net but I'm not coming up with many reviews on here. I saw one person say he liked it on here, but thats about it.

I have had A Centerforce Dual friction which was complete junk, a Racing Beat Street/ Strip which was fine. Currently I have a An Exedy sprung hub pucked clutch & a Clutch masters stage 3 in another 7 both I like fine

I have had the same ACT 6 puck clucth for like 5 years. Never slipped, never failed on me. And its easy on the pedal. Love it

i've gotta cheapo XTD "stage3"(6puck spriung), and so far i have no compaints other then quick engagmetn and some very minor minor vibrations when taking off from a dead stop (after i installed my soild motor mounts, didnt feel anything b4 them)

no personal experience, but a friend of mine sells and installs quite of lot of them on Skylines here in Holland... [/CENTER]
they seem to work ok, sometimes there are defects straight from the box, but everything is always solved properly.
