Air conditioning
Power Steering
Sound deadening mats
Sound deadening tar (though you said you don't want to remove that)
Get an MP3 player and remove the antenna/motor (for electric one)/wiring for it
Get AAA membership and ditch the spare tire, jack, etc.
Washer fluid bottles
All emissions
Charcoal canister
Cruise control and CC CPU
AAS if you have it and CPU
Lightweight flywheel
Front tow hooks but keep the rears on case you need to be towed
Lighter rims
Lighter racing seats

The list goes one, but thats an idea of what my list of removal is like.

remove passenger seat, and all interior pieces. And you don't really need most of your dash.

You can remove significant weight while keeping the full interior. The panels and carpet and junk really don't weigh very much. I've taken out 230-250 lbs and I still have full interior excluding the storage bins.

The car is not very loud inside w/o the interior tar IMO. When I removed mine, it filled two plastic vegetable bags and must have weighed 20-30 lbs. The bags almost broke when I lifted them into the trash can.

Other junk you can take off are the towing hooks. I know from experience that a tow truck can yank an FC out of a ditch using the lower forged control arms.

As stated above, the stock exhaust is very heavy. Stock flywheel is also a boat anchor.

I was just about to post about what i can rip out of my engine bay, saved me the trouble. I already have ps,ac, emmision, CSA removed. I didnt know you can remove that charcoal canister. Haynes says its part of my fuel system. What else can be gotten rid of? i already removed any brackets that seemed useless, and am trying to remove my a/c condeser. Not tryna hijack, just inspire more posts.

you can get rid of yoru air pump and all its components including the muffler in the front bumper if you have no emmisions. Other than that I dont think there is much that has not been suggested.

with a widebody kit you can get rid of most of the rear quarter panels

I did about 2/3 of my tar removal because time became an issue and it was at the hardest points where I stopped. But I weighed every last tiny bit that came out (including what I vacuumed up) and got 13.2 lbs. So if you consider it ~2/3 like I'm guessing then full removal should be about 20 lbs maybe more. One of these days I'll finish taking the rest out

Also, forgot to mention, for those of you that are going to do AC removal, do NOT forget the evaporator behind the dash, that's a good 5-10 lbs (can't remember the exact figure from when I weighed it).
