If my weep hole in the water pump is leaking, does that mean the WHOLE water pump needs to be replaced? or is it only the front cover / part that turns that needs replacing?

p.s. can you use the radiator stop leak stuff to block small leaks around the water pump?

 

The weep hole is in the water pump. If it is leaking, then the seals in the water pump have gone bad and thus the pump needs replacing. Only the water pump would need replacing. The front cover of the water pump IS the water pump. The pump is one unit and there is no real way to replace the seals. Just order and install a new water pump, and you'lll be fine.

Do not run a coolant blockant. You are asking for trouble. A water pump is not that expensive.
