In a nutshell:
I bought the white '87 TII as a parts car. Once you remove the hubs, suspension, etc the only way to get rid of the shell is by cutting it up. I have a black '87 TII that is being built up using parts from the white one. My black '88 GTU is my daily driver and open track car. (now retired from track duty)
