Question Walbro 255lph Too Powerful...?

Quick one for you guys....

i was told the Walbro 255lph is probably over-flowing ( or something ) my stock fuel-pressure regulator....

is this anything to worry about?...

or should i get an aftermarket one, and if so, what do i set it at...?

thanx....

The Walbro 255lph "high pressure" upgrade fuel pump ends up inducing about 5psi more fuel rail pressure than stock.

Stock is about 35psi at idle, 40psi at "0" manifold, and 1:1 with boost.

Walbro readings normally about 40psi at idle, 45psi at "0".

So would someone be better off with a low pressure walbro if they were just keeping the stock turbo and just upgrading exhaust ic upping boost and some other minor things?

No, the extra fuel actually "helps" due to inefficiencies of the stock electrical wiring.
Most owners already have an S-AFC or equivalent, and that can adjust the fuel down to a more efficient level.
