Red face

Hey everyone that was talking about buying this bumper and have not done so yet....please...please do it now! You only have 2 more days in which to buy it and those of us who have put are money down really want this to happen. Do not wait for "Bob" to do it and then when there's finally 7 or 8 people, now you'll commit. We have put our money where our mouth is...what the heck is the problem? I hate for something as unique of an opportunity as this to be wasted because there's a bunch of individuals who do nothing but talk on the forum and listen to there own lips flap around saying that they'll do something that they won't. I for one, really want this thing to happen, please show your support for someone who is going out of there way to do something for us FC people with the definite possibility for more when most of the aftermarket body kits are geared for the FD crowd. We are halfway there now with 5 people signed up, all we need is a few more and we can get this and the other kits on the way. Now come on and do something instead of letting the rest of us get our hopes up and then letting it fail because of the false support.

*Takes a bow*

Here Here!!! Good post.. I see very few really cool exterior or interior aftermarket parts for the FC. And believe me I have looked. Oh I see a FEW nose pieces (only 1 I like and it's 2k just for the nose and lights, more than I care to spend on one piece), I see NO tail lights so i paid quite a bit for a used set from a 90 model, I see NO carbon fiber hoods which I have been looking for tirelessly, I see a very few wings that look decent. The FD has much more support from the aftermarket than the FC and I guess this is why. People say they want something but don't get it when they have the chance. Let's show em we do want some cool aftermarket parts so get yer buts in gear and send that deposit in so we can have a trick front end.

I read earlier that someone wanted something more original. Ummm we are the ONLY ones who are trying to get that front end for the FC. There is not any other front end out there for the FC like this one. If there was we would already have it. I guess 1 of 10 is not original enough?

Amemyia!!! Are you going to put in your order??? If so we would have 8, (he commented before on ordering 3 for his shop), and then we only need 2 more people (Supermac, and someone else said they would be #10).

Please post with what you guys plan to do!!! I myself might by another bumper just to be one step closer to 10. I really hope you guys are not seriously backing out now after all the talk in the beginning!!!

the only thing that really scares me is the $890.00 final price tag (thats more than the Knight Sports and it comes with a custom set of lights). I know making the molds and that stuff costs A LOT but $850.00 thats a little much for an American made product, I mean the first day a new civic, integra, crx, del sol, and the list goes on to other cars there like $499.00 at the most, this really tight kit for my step brothers crx is $699.00 before shipping. this whole bumper is more than that with the 99 spec lights. and is only $199.00 less with the stock lights. Its too much for a group buy, when a group buys it is suppose to be cheaper and this isn't. Im not trying to be a pain just voicing my thoughts, the price is too high for a front bumper. Now if shipping was free to my door that would be another story all together.

Well, sorry to inform you but we do not drive Hondas...

Everyone and their mom knows that there are 3 new kits for every Honda every day... They are very popular, and they sell many of the kits... And also, half of the bumpers are very shittly (is that a word?) made, and they do not fit onto the car without being modified... And of course this front end is american made...

Did you know that the Japanese version of the Mazdaspeed front end for the FD is about $1100 without the lights???

And that Rotary Extreme sells the Mazdaspeed replica for the FD (obviously) and that costs $650 without lights???

So for your information, we are gettin a hell of a deal... its a custom made bumper for $150 less than the original copy, and it will take more work! If anything, it should be $650 and with the group buy we get the bumper customized to fit the FC!!!

Granted the lights are $390, but do those honda kits come with a set of amazing JDM lights??? didn't think so

So if you say $500 is too much for a group buy after reading this... Then go buy yourself a Honda and get yourself a shogun kit, have a nice day.

LOL, If you think a shogun kit is good you have A LOT to learn. The kit he is getting is really trick al looks totally original. Im not sure who you are getting a bumper from but all the kits I have seen fit like stock. Im all for the RXs but the hondas have the advantage in styling in prices.

Obviously there is nothing good about a shogun kit...

If all you see it as is a bumper, a piece of fiberglass, then I'm happy to know that you are not joining us in this group buy...

dude....if you are going to flood this thread with bullshit then you need to take your *** to another thread. this is for people who are interested in a totally original and new, yes new kit for our cars. which is something we hardly ever see these days since its an older model. if you are going to post here with negative comments and are not interested in it then you need to leave.

woah, u all really want this thing don't you?? If it gets extended I might buy one since I need a new front clip for my car but I can only do it if I can buy just the 99spec bumper and purtchase the lights later. Sorry about other posts I was having a few bad days. But I did see the Type X bumper for an Integra that would look cool on a FC just because it is all squared off and that would go with our cars. As for it being a piece of fiberglass, well.... thats what it is, I mean I described my 'stang as a tank because thats what it was, a 4200lb tank.

GOOD NEWS EVERYONE!!!

The deadline has been extended to January 30th!!!

Chuck will be in Taiwan and Japan from now until then, so it only makes sense.

Then he will start production, we now have 6 people who have paid, and I will be ordering another I think... So 7.

Acme, it's up to you to get your own lights. So get it in gear and send your downpayment!

Thank you guys for extending the deadline, I'm a poor college kid. I just hope to have enough for the deposit by then.

Rotary Extreme is gone for the next few weeks, the only way to send him your payment is through paypal on his website... I guess you could send him a Money Order too... I have his address if anyone needs it... If you have any questions, I will do my best to answer then since he will not be able to for the next 2 weeks...

Thumbs up GT-C front bumper

Hi,

I read the GTS front bumper threads and thought I should try to make something better in Photoshop, to show off the bumper on the FC. I hope it reflects the real version, anyway it looks more real i think...

Hope you like it!
