Due to the style of the GTC, there is not really a flat spot in the fron of the bumper to have that molding look unless you shave off the little scoop on top of the mouth. But only you asked to eliminate that scoop so I don't think we will just eliminate it for one person unless the majority wants that done. If that's eliminated, we can have the molding look. The mouth should be about 24"x9". New info on the website so go to

Yes, i really want the slit to be there, my ic is 12.5" high, so it will give a little more cooling to it. But Chuck cant necessarily make the bumper have a 12" high scoop, it would look ridiculous for cars without ic's that big. And most people dont like the look of huge ic openings...There will be no molding on the bumpers as far as i know, the i suggest taking off the molding on 86-88 cars, and either replace it with 89-91, or just have no mold, and have the indentation. I will be doing one of these two.

I kinda liked it but I need a larger open area for ic im using larger FMIC
than the simple greddy frount mount.
fmic
fmic half hiddin
with the stock on over half the ic is behind.
so I think Im going to get one like this
we each have our own needs and I needs not to have a slit there
than the simple greddy frount mount.

I will be running a similar sized ic as that one. so i will be in the same boat as you are, i might have mine modified to go up 2 more inches, but not from Chuck, he can only make the bumper the way the GT-C is already, they are molds, cant do much different with them...Respond if you are still interested...

my editing skillz are the best but a few min with gimp and here is what I got.
I took out the slits above the IC I think it makes the kit look cleaner.
and the 2nd one is wide mouth ver for large FMIC
I do a big mouth one already. but I like these with the 99 spec lights.
I am also thinking of getting the RE 2K bumper and head lights for my daily driver.

Wonderful, looks like we are gettin plenty of votes, but very little action. I thought i had said not to vote if you were not going to join this group buy. Not tryin to be a pain in the ***, but we get soo much feedback, but when it comes time to put your money where your mouth is, everyone runs away. All questions are either answered on Chucks group buy page, or you can email him at rotaryextreme@aol.com , he will gladly answer your questions.

i know this might be stupid to say this...but who likes the 2000 RE amemiya front? the one Soul Assasin has...i guess the only way for the guy to make copies of that one would be to actually buy it...but damn, if he was offering that kit with the headlights i would be ALL ABOUT IT...

Well, as Chuck promised, he will be making more front ends, side skirts, and anything else our little heart desires, IF this group buy works out... So unless we get some interest in these bumpers quick, like all the guys that voted for it....... We wont be gettin anything from Chuck after this.

Well, they will all look like the top one that you showed, you can fill in the whole yourself, it would not be too difficult, or you can have a body shop cut the opening up higher for you like in the second pic. But Chuck can only do the molds of the top one you had showed, he cannot do the body work to adjust them... It would cost you the same if you had it down locally or by him (if he could do it) anyways...

OH DEAR LORD that purple 7 above with the FD front is sweet!!!! AHHH I love that it looks like they replaced the whole front with FD pieces, fenders nose, hood and lamps.
MAN I would stop everything and start saving for that kit in a heart beat!

If you look at this pic... (FourtyOunce's Car)
You will see that they do not hang in mid air, its just that some people paint under the lights black to make it appear that way...
