variable resister screw

variable resister screw

can someone please post a pic of the variable resister screw... i can't for the life of me find it and it's bugging the crap out of me... i know it's by the passenger side strut tower but i think it's ::invisible:: can someone put an end to this madness??

how i know is 2 different variable resistors.One is with screw and the other with out needed a special tool from mazda.But why you are want to adjust the variable resistor?It does not need.

The variable resistor is located in the same area as the pressure sensor. It needs to be adjusted if a new motor is installed, or major maintenance is performed. You cant find the screw part, because its probably covered in anti-tamper materiel.

What "OTHER" sensor and special tool are you referring too?

There is no variable resistor on S5's, so you can stop looking.

OH THANK GOD... I don't need to mess with it, but i was trying to find it one day and it's been eluding me since... i'm glad i'm not crazy (at least in that sense)

Well, if you have an S4 car. It helps you set your idle by adding or subtracting fuel.

Your mean that you don't have to spend 300 bucks for a SAFC to get your idle to smooth out on a series four....unlike a series five??????
