Vacuum Line diagram on hood + other

I have removed all stock vaccum lines, every one of them , should I remove the sticker on the hood of my car with the vacuum line diagram? Do smoggies expect to see this? And I live in cali, can I get away with no airpump? I have seen cars around the same age as mine with no airpump from the factory? Will the coppers know this?

I wouldn't concern yourself to much with the diagram to the Air Lines. Let alone the Air Pump as far as emissions testing Is concerned. Alot of they guys don't know a thing about out cars. However, passing emissions Is concerned, good luck. No AP renders the emissions useless...

I know no airpump means no pass, but will cops in california know that I don't have my airpump (therefore breaking the law)

I hate to tell you but cops in cali are smarter than you think. Yes they will know and yes the smog station will know as well because if the sticker is not there the manual they have will never lie. Sorry to bust your buble.

You still building motors? Maybe you could give the young rotary brood some tips on rebuilding a s4 turbo motor? Friend needs help with a s4 t2 he just bought.

Yeah you might as well leave it on because you are going to need a "hook up" for a smog anyway. To be honest it take some stupid s**t for you to get pulled over and have your hood opened. But any cop at any time has the right to look under your car and see that you have no cats . Just drive around nice and use your better judgment and all will be good.

Yeah I am still building motors. I am working on a S5 TII swap for my car now and building Rishie a S5 super motor for his wide body. PM or E-mail me if you have any specific questions about how to do it. But my main advice is: take your time, don't stress, read the manual a billion times, and pick up that video if you have $20 laying around. It's not hard just time consuming.

I read somewhere on here that a guy took an eclipse cat, cut it open and welded it around his straight pipe... No one knew the difference.
