vacuum leak =\

i can hear a slight whistle coming from around my intake. i believe it is a vacuum leak due to slight power loss and minor break issues. can anyone tell me what or where to check please?

If there's a vac leak in a manifold gasket your idle will surge all over the place, so that's probably not it. You didn't bother to mention what model your car is anyhow, so that will drastically change what reasons there could be for a power loss. And did you mean "brake issues?" A vac leak would have nothing to do with problems stopping to car if that's what you're thinking.

go down to the store a get a stephiscope for like $10 dont for get to take the end off so its just a hose and u can use it for more then vaccum leak like finding out what bearing is going out. U use it be moving it along vaccum lines and u will beable to hear it when u get near the leak.
