Question vacuum hoses

I'm getting ready to replace some/all of the vacuum hoses on my 13B NA. I was wondering how much of a problem all of the sharp bends are going to be. How do I make the bends without having the hoses collapse?

You could loop it- instead of making a hard 90* turn, put a loop in it. Takes more hose length, but doesn't collapse on ya...

Question

Thanks for the info wayne88. Thanks for the help last week with the idle also. It was a vacuum leak. I pulled the intake and found one of the vac lines to the oil injector didn't mate tight. While the intake is off, I'm going to replace the oil injection lines also. When I did the rebuild I changed them but I made them myself and I don't like the way they turned out so I ordered new ones form Atkins.

premix is the way to go. I just went premix this summer...

I'm still wondering the people's face when I'll pour engine oil in my tank. That's gonna be pretty funny.

but there doesnt seem to be an average accepted premix rate...
some say 128/1, some 100/1, some 200/1. that's very personal and f****d up...

OOPS

Sorry about that. I didn't actually overlook you. I actually meant to include you but I hit the enter key when I tried to hit del.

I never thought of premix. I could have saved $125. But how do you get the mix right. What about when I go to sell it........ which I always end up doing after a few months.

I'm going to have to do a little search and see what other people have to say.

thanks.............

A *vac line* off an oil injector can not, will not cause the engine to idle any different than if it were on the oil injector. Just FYI.
