using soooo much oil!

my fc is using a ton of oil. not like normal, which is still a lot compared to other cars but seriously wayyy to much, i'm thinking there's a leak somewhere. I filled it up 2 weeks ago and have been driving it about 4 times a week with some spirited runs here and there and its close to empty already. But I've gone much longer before on the same amount of oil with more high revving than this time. Thanks in advance for help

are you sure its leaking and not burning the oil? i normally go have to fill 1/2 a quart every 300 miles which i think is a bit much but i threw it up on the rack and inspected evrything, no leaks.

Did you notice any "more than usual" cold start up smoke ?

especially if you let the car sit for 1 day or so.

if you did, then you probably have oil control ring failure like me.

My old motor did the same thing before it went. Burned about a quart of oil every 200 miles.

It eventually blew due to bad oil seals.

Engine must be removed and taken apart to spec out the oil control rings. (obliviously might as well rebuild if it was apart.)

I assume this is n/a? If turbo'd could be the turbo oil seals. Check shaft play.

How bad is the smoke out the exhaust? While warming up and at operating temps.

Look for leaks around the oil cooler lines, front main seal and ect just to start with.
