ok i got the intake off, and right below that cold start thing, there is a little nipple that had a fabrice vacuum hose on it. that hose was ripped off so i could barely see it and overlooked it. its right there under the cold start thing where i capped off the 3 holes.

the car idles like a rock now. looks like we figured it out. however, i am idling in stoich on my a/f gauge, then it will hesitate for a less than a blink, and the a/f gauge will blip down to lean, then back to stoich... i'm thinking that the line connected to the fuel pressure regulator may be hooked up to the wrong nipple.

I didn't know there was a "wrong nipple" for the FPR. Let me know what you find out about this.

i have mine hooked up to the top nipple on the front of the intake (the set of 3) and capped the other two.

and i made a 120 miles trip yesterday with the car, so it looks like the fuel pressure is getting regulated correctly
