type of oil???
I just got my engine rebuild and I was wondering if it's ok since the engine is new inside to put synthetic oil???? any recommentions???

Opinions are like........
With any new engine, I vote for an early oil change to remove any assembly debris and gasket/seal material byproducts. If you want to waste the money on synthetic, go ahead since its OK. But, I'd recommend a very short 1st oil change with regardless of oil chosen.
I use Rotella T 5w40 year round. Its plenty thick for the summer and flows well enough when cold. The price is pretty good at only $14 a jug at wallyworld.
ANY oil that matches your weather pattern is good. Just practice a sane oil change interval.
