turbo type

ok i bought this car and im just wondering what kinda turbo the guy gave me with it, he was planning on making this n/a turbo but im just gonna do an engine swap.

edit: i was also going to sell this, but im not sure what kinda condition this thing is in....

really? wow, i figured it was some off turbo, im willing to low ball if im gonna sell it, maybe 60-100 bucks at the most...

yeah if you pull off the back plate annd look at the wastegate u can tell if it has 2 holes its s5 if it has one its an s4

will do guys, ill do that in like 30min, and post the findings later on. if you know anyone that wants this thing for 50 bucks, im not sure the condition of it, but im more than willing to sell it.

yes its an s4 turbo, if you want to sell it post an add in the classifieds section. move the wheel back and fourth in the inlet, it shouldnt move much. if the blades scrape the housing its pretty much junk. if its good you could probably get $50-$125 for it

question, right now there is no oil in it, should i put a little in it, spin it around and feel for any slop in the shaft and any dragging anywhere?
