Alright, so I decided to rebuild my S5 turbo myself as I didn't think it would be to difficult and as long as I paid attenchen to marking everything I shouldn't have a problem with it being unblanced.

The rebuild kit I used was the 300-550 from www.turbocity.com I believe the S4 rebuild kit is 300-500 although you should ask to be sure.

The rebuilding proccess was pretty strait foward.

After turbo was reassembled it spun freely and smoothly. Before the rebuild it would only spin 1 or 2 rotations after I let go, after rebuild it would spin freely for 2-3 seconds. There was no shaft play after rebuild.

I will report back on how it preforms when I drop the engine into the rx-2 next month.
