Turbo II sideskirts

OK. So I bought a set of TII sideskirts to put on my 87 GXL. After recieving them it appears that a piece is missing. I think that it is the piece right in front of the rear fender. Can anyone help me out with telling me what parts I should have recieved and if they are going to fit at all?

Thanks

yeah, there's 2 parts on each side...one part starts at the front wheel well, and ends where that fender meets the door...and then the longer piece continues from there to the rear wheel well. i think there is a smalll "coupling" piece between the two that help join them.

thats cool taht you're putting them on the n/a...should look nice ...just one question though...the molding for the 89-91 side skirts are a bit different...are you leaving the 87 molding on the door?

Missing

After what you guys have said it appears that I was not given all the parts for the side skirts. I am missing the piece that goes right in front of the rear fender....ie instead of the complete side skirt that goes up to the side trim I only have an l shape.

Mazda had 2 (count em) "ground effects" with OEM part #s, 2 different front lips, and 3 different rear spoilers.

The Areo A package included the 3 piece front lip, normal side skirt upgrades (4 pieces total), and rear spoiler.

The Mazdaspeed Areo B package has a beefier front lip, beefier side skirts, and a slightly different rear spoiler.

There's also a 1 piece front lip that stops before wheel wells.

Other accessories still available are the 89+ rear hatch cover (very nice looking), sunroof windguard (very nice), nose braws, and I think a taller armrest with cupholder (still researching that one).

The glass moonroof from Mazda is discontinued & not in stock. Need to research the Pacific Glass one's to figure out who has the specs on these for another production run.

All are great upgrades.

i don't have any pics of just the side skirt...i'm sure someone does...this pic might help...you can see the 2 screws close to the front wheel well...and how since its plastic its a little different color red than the body. Baix2 had some good profile pics of his T2 from the back where you could see how the longer side skirt screwed into the body...but i can't find them...

maybe this helps. they aren't too extreme...they just accentuate the molding on the body a bit more...
