Turbo II injector inserts?
Hey guys, I'm in the process of putting my turbo II back together, I pulled the lower intake manifold and injectors out and noticed these brown inserts in the intake manfiold secondary bungs, looks like they help atomize fuel. One of them broke on me while I was trying to remove them for cleaning purposes.
Ive got a couple pics of what i'm talking about ill post up in a few hrs - Question is , where can I get replacements? do they have to come from a junkyard? hopefully not as there are no junkyard TurboII's anywhere near me! Any links or if anyone has one for sale would be really appreciated!?
Question 2- I was planning on going to a set of low impedance 720cc's within a couple months, Will they work with these brown inserts or no? Are they even necessary?
thank you so much for your replies!!!!
Cant wait to have this beast back on the road!

Question I just thought of after reading, say I remove them from both secondary's, is the factory size injector O-ring going to seal alright without them? thanks again!

the inserts actually are the seal, so if you remove them, you need to replace them with something that will seal like they do

1. Mazdatrix
2. Yes. A simple cleaning of the lower part of my diffuser actually provided a seat of the pants difference in performance.
You definitely will want to replace the O rings on those diffusers with new before you install. Just doing that made a HUGE difference in stabilizing my idle.

You mean just a proper size O ring correct? I went out to my garage and inspected the whole secondary setup, it looks like the O- rings from the top of the diffuser's are the right diameter on the outside but a little loose on the inside where it seals with the injector pintle. Looks like i'm going O- ring hunting
