Turbo coversion- larger injectors?

I was wondering if any of you turbo guys have had to upgrade to larger injectors... (anyone putting out 250+ HP)
I have a street ported, high compression engine, I am already putting out 200 hp or close to it, and I have hit a wall. (metaphorically , at 14.54, 97.8 mph!) I am looking to add a turbo. I know I will be limited in boost by the high compression (1990 engine), and I will probably not even need to run an intercooler if I stick to a max of 6-7PSI. My question is- are 550cc injectors (4) enough?
I am assuming I will need -turbo, -exhaust manifold, -ecu,
The drivetrain will wait untill spring. I won't be racing over the winter- just driving. Do I need anything else? (Intake manifold, whatever?)
Is it even possible within reason to put a turbo on a NA motor? I have done SOO much to the engine, and I don't want to get an entirely different engine. I figure 7 PSI on this thing should be really damn fast!
I know about a million threads have been posted on turbo conversions, but those are usually on swapping the whole engine... mine has a little twist of a low boost, non intercooled high compression street ported 6 port ok I'll shut up now.
Thanks.

I doubt it, 4 550 cc injectors would be about right for your car n/a right now. Turbos DO NOT tolerate running lean, n/a's do quite well. Ask me how I get 25 MPG on my car

you definatly need an intercooler, and I won't run over 5psi or so. you will also need bigger injectors. stock turbo 550 primary and some 720cc secondary would probably be good. also bigger fuel pump. the N/A ones are even smaller then a stock turbo one.

yea the reg. injectors in our turbo motors only support like 200-225 to the wheels. go with scott's recommendation.

Ok, with the injector issue out of the way, what else do I need?
Turbo, manifold, I'd have to make intake piping (probably use PVC) ... Boost sensor, bigger fuel pump, and ECU. Anything else?
I really am not too knowledgeable about turbo setups at all.

I have searched the whole forum, but all the conversion threads are just about dropping in a whole TII motor, I just want to put a turbo on my existing one. Anyone have any more info, or know where I can get it?

Thanks.
Dan

There were a couple of guys on here selling a kit that they made for the NA rx7... it was called Havok or Havoc or something like that... do a search in here on it.

Yeah, they were boosting at about 6-7psi, and they didn't have an intercooler.

Mazdaspeed7 - How do you get 25mph per gallon?

Ya really! I get, like, 14!!!
Downhill... tailwind....
So noone else knows anything about putting a turbo on?? I don't want to buy a new kit, but I'd rather buy a used turbo and manifold from a 89-91 TII.. cheaper!!!

Stock ported engine, and almost every mod yuou can do to a n/a, not to mention im running very lean. A lot of that was highway miles doing ~90 mph, and a good bit of city miles, but I wasnt getting on it a lot. I usually get about 22 mpg, and I am by no means easy on the throttle
