im getting a new street ported motor put in, in two weeks. with the install i am getting a fcd, s afc, stage 2 bnr turbo, fmic, walbro, 720's, racing beat exhaust, intake and clutch installed. i was wondering if after putting all this in would i have to tune the motor? i figure you do so the motor doesnt start knocking. i just need to know. how long should i wait to get it tuned after getting the motor installed? any info is helpfull. thanks

 

With all those parts you will definitely need to have the car properly tuned. You will need to break the motor in before you can have it tuned on a dyno. Everyone is going to have different opinions on new/re-built motor break in so I would suggest you use the guidelines the motor builder should have gave you.
