tune-up needed

I have had my 86 n/a for a little more then a month now, and first let me just say that I love it! I have noticed though that when I idle I can feel the car shake a little every couple secs like it has a miss or something. to fix this little problem, and get my engine running in premium condition I want to do a tune-up on it. I just changed the oil today. I want to pick up new plugs and wires tomorrow. does anyone have any recommendations on what plugs and wires to buy (not to pricey) and what else I should get. thanks for the help guys!

New fuel filter, new air filter, oil filter, spark plugs (NGK BUR9EQ trailing and BUR7EQ leading) plug wires. I always change all the accessory belts and change the tranny, differential fluid when I get a new car also.

I just got new plugs and wires yesturday. I'm not sure if I needed the new wires, but I feel more comfortable knowing there replaced with NKG! I've replaced the spark plugs every 2-3 oil changes btw.

Yeah alot of people will argue about change time for spark plugs.

Everyone that i know with a rotary engine in their car weather it's turbo or not, changes thier plugs every 9 - 12k miles

it's just 'safe', plus you get the joy of knowing your car has new plugs in it..

Also, change wires, set your Throttle Sensor, and Base Idle

and Change fuel filter. (clean your IN GAS TANK fuel filter as well. Yes theres a second fuel filter inside your gas tank.. Also get a new Air filter. or even a cheap conical intake filter.. (2-5 Hp)

good luck
