is 130k really that bad for a turbo rotary?

umm. it's a little high, does she smoke? does she start? does she continue to run...(smoothly)

what year is the car.. and what kind of condition it's in depends on if it's bad or not

Well, let's face it...it's not 50,000. My feelings are that the rotary will not last as long as a piston engine vehicle, although I'm sure that's up for debate. As long as it runs fine, why worry about it. My '89TII, which is pristine, needed a replacement @ 160,000 miles. Compression was minimum and a seal was stuck or cracked, so I replaced the engine. Take a compression test and drive it. My Jeed Grand Cherokee just turned 200,000 with absolutely no problems. My wife's Z24 has 150,000 no problems. Daughters Z24 Conv. 140,000 likewise, no problems. But the RX7 is still the most enjoyable to drive. If it ever stops raining here in Jersey I'll drive it again.

starts good, runs smooth, although Im having turbo troubles. Oh yea its an '88 B13

mine has 124k..iwth near 120 compression in both rotors..which is great...go get a compression test...then start worrying. if driven easy these things can still last
