Lots of PB Blaster/DeepCreep/Liquid Wrench/etc.

You may have to pull the exhaust manifold out of the car if it's really bad.

Make sure you put antiseeze on it when you put it back in, so the next person doing it doesn't have to go through the same torment.

I take it you're using a deep well socket that's designed specifically for O2 sensors. Available at any Advance Auto. Use a long socket handle or breaker bar for better leverage. Yeah and use plenty of penetrating oil. Good luck.

Hah, here is what I used, o2 sensor socket, enough 1/4" drive extensions to stick out of the engine bay and a long 24" breaker. My extensions barely touched the hardline heater return and if you have the AC plumbing still it may not work.

Listen to SOUND advice: Spray WD-40, Liquid Wrench, pour motor oil, anything lubricating around the base. Next, run the car for 3 minutes. Get a ball=peen hammer, and hit the top of the SOB with direct force. Take socket, and long extension and 1st, yes, 1st, try and tighten with minor torque. One more time with lubricant, one more good hit, and it will spin right out like its suppose to. Trust me. The key it to try and tighten first.

your best bet is to soak the crap out of it (for a few days without starting the car). Snip the wire off and use a 6 sided socket a long extention an a large breaker bar. If that doesnt work then you can try heating it till it's red hot with a torch and then break it loose. and like Russ said use neversieze and dont toque the **** out of it when you put it back in, you should thread it in till is kinda firm then give it a good quarter to half turn, thats all.

Yeah soak with anti-sieze for as long as possible, days is preferable. Heat the area around the o2 sensor on the manifold with a propane torch until it glows red. This burns the rust off and makes it easier to break. Then make sure to cut the wire off the old o2 sensor and use a 6 sided socket. You HAVE to use this kind of socket because it's the only type that can take the torque required. The open sided ones twist, and the 12 point sockets will just chew up with o2 sensor.

Try what The Dog said and give it a little tightening torque first, and then try to take it off. You need as big of a wrench or breakover bar you can get. This will take some serious torque/heat/penetrating oil to get off.
