"very underpowered" Have you ever ridden in an NA with good compression running good? or just some beater.
What are you comparing it to, The NAs can still keep up just fine with todays "low-strength model" sports cars, thats all it ever was.

The only time a VIN is useful is on the 90s (for further reference). Though, as a owner of many GTUs over the years, Bukwild is pretty close to target. The N/A's are relatively slow which makes them not very desirable, so even though they are rare, theirs a very select few who are willing to pay for that. But, again, it's worth whatever you feel it is so if you like it go ahead and snag it, but just know that the resale isn't going to be great just because it's a GTUs.

Well good compression, and a little tuning and they can.

I just know that my NA can outrun celicas, eclipses, mustangs on the freeway.
If you compare to their lowest cost model the 13b-na can still hold its own when in good restored condition.

They were always little brother to the TII, but think of all the "very underpowered" cheapest models of supposedly sports cars they make today...

But yeah since it is considerably slower than a good TII by anyones standards it is less desirable. Most people looking to buy an rx7 these days are looking for more power and to be competitive with the true sports cars of today. I just think an NA is far from worthless, its still a pretty fun car, feels/handles great, and looks good

Well, if you want to compare simply on current value, there are a lot of faster platforms for similar costs (Various Mustang models, GSX/TSi, Laser RS Turbo, Prelude VTECs, Taurus SHO, probe GT, etc). Short of dumping a small fortune into it, it's not the easiest to get an FC under the 15 mark. But then again, straight speed isn't exactly the selling point of an n/a FC (and never really will be). But, keep in mind that for not much more you can probably find a TII.
