i have a friend with a 94 GS-R integra, he put 80/90w tranny oil, is that safe?? he just wants to know before he drives it because his friend told him 10/30w was what its supposed to have

i know ted lol, just tryin to find out, no one on the honda-mod forum seems to answer. gotta rebuild my rx gonna use his shop, i think ive almost gotten him turned into a rotor head, he wants a 94 R2

Guys,
In addition to the '87 TII, I have a '96 Grand Cherokee and a '94 Honda Civic EX Coupe. The Honda uses the SAME oil in the gearbox (5 speed) as in the engine 10w30 motor oil. Weird but true.
