Angry torqueless s4

guys is this normal.. i know rotaries have no torque, but it looked decent enough on paper.. 132 on a series 4?
anyhow it feels like my car has no off the line kick in the pants feeling.
ive been running trap speeds of about 95 in a local qm segment.. but ive got 195 azenzis and i dont think theyre stock size.. so am i running lower trap speeds cuz my tires are too small?
is it normal for a series 4 to feel slow?

once you learn where the power bands are and get the feel of an engine that reacts differently than a piston popper, you'll be OK...depending on applications for the car, you can have too big OR too small tires (along the same lines as gear/ rear end ratios)

Umm... I thought 95 was decent for an s4 N/A. If it's turbo you got more than 132 ya know?

If you try and drive a RX like a piston car it won't be that fast. A rotary begs for high rpm meanwhile **** starts breaking on a piston motor.

It's not going to grunt off the line like a Camaro, or even like a Truck. Once you get to ~4500rpm it'll start to go, though.

95mph sounds high, you should be running ~15.0s? That's pretty good for an n/a S4.

its approx 90-95.. i have a section of road marked off locally at approx 1 quarter mile from a nearby stoplight..
i think i know what you guys mean, ive been launching at about 3k for spirited street driving.. it gets some decent jump off the line, but im noticing the car seems to do much better in 2nd-3rd gear.
also ive got brand spanking new cats on it and ive just been cleaning this and that and doing all sorts of little fun stuff to it.
new plugs, vac lines, coolant lines, just installed cone intake, but i need to find my glassing kit to make the cold airbox.
ive got a cardboard mold, loosely based off of whats his names design.. im having trouble fitting it next to the large rad line though, and what would you guys reccomend to support the AFM not that my stock box is gone? i have it pretty much zip tied to the old mounts as of now.

make sure all components of the engine are working fine. see if your auxilary ports are closed below 4000 RPM or so, and check your primary fuel injectors.
