Maybe you got your temp sensor wires and starter wires reversed! J/K!
But really, I have no idea. I do want to see your pics, though. It is always interesting to see how different people do these setups.

If your car will not even crank over, have you checked your starter? Is it getting power? What about your fuel pump/spark plugs? Are they getting power and making good spark?

Just some simpler things to try before you go ripping your car to pieces.

k, you've checked to see if your starter has power, and that your starter solenoid does too, and it still does not turn over? Then you need a new starter. Have you checked your battery condition?
If it won't crank, it is your starter. Either it is not getting power or there is something wrong with it. removing the intake will not help.

was this an NA to TII swap? if so i just did this same thing. your temperature guage will work backwards because the TII sensor has a different OHM rating on it. put your NA ssensor on the TII motor (its just below the oil filter).

Do you have the engine grounded? The starter grounds to the engine and tranny, if the ground straps are off or corroded badly, the starter won't work.

Run one side of a jumper cable from the negative of your battery to the alternator bracket or somewhere on the engine to test.

Run an 8 gauge ground wire from the battery to the long bolt through the alternator.

Pull the trail coil assy up and out of the way. Under it you will find a BLUE plug with one wire jumpered from one socket to the other. Pull the BLUE half of the connector off and lay it to the side. With your meter, check to see if there is 12v on the BLACK AND GREEN WIRE, when the key is turned to Start, with the clutch depressed. If you don't , then your 80amp fuse is blown in the fuse box under the hood. There is one exception to this. The power goes from the 80 amp fuse, thru a single wire connector about 8 inches below the fuse box in the engine bay. See if that is connected. You might see if the 80a fuse is anygood before doing any of the above. I'll attach a schematic where you'll see how simple the thing is. Oh you don't have THEFT DETERRENT, do you???? Say NO, please. Don't have a meter? RAdio Shack has them for 19 bucks.
