throttle cable identification

I have a s4 t2 I bought from a friend years ago and he included whatever parts he had. I was putting my turbocharger together today and noticed a throttle cable. I'm not 100 % sure if its for my fc, but the ends are identical to my car. My cars throttle cable is like 4ft long , and this one I found sitting in my pile of parts is about 2.5ft.

Is it an fd throttle cable? If it is, I was wondering how others have routed theirs. Thanks in advance!

Routed same as tii cable, just not such a big loop when there is no Top mount

So does that sound like the fd throttle cable? Saw on pictures of people with f2f uim , the cable goes around near the fire wall because it connects on the other side.

I'm not planning on getting a fd uim anytime soon, but i guess my throttle cable is too long

I got a TII throttle cable on my FC with an FD upper.
I attached it to the oil filler tube, the Upper manifold, the Strut tower bolt, the Upper again using a custom piece at the adjuster and then to the TB.
It's a bit of a run but it works.

The FD cable seems to be the way if you go FD upper( I think Rob Rx7 did it). It's shorter.

I would love to see this, cause I just put an FD UIM on my S4 LIM and the s4 TII throttle cable won't work on it, so I am gonna buy an FD throttle cable, that should work, maybe I'll take the FD throttle cable out of my other rx7 and test fit it before I buy a new one though, just sucks cause my S4 TII throttle cable is brand new

COSMO:
send me your cell Number so I can TEXT you pics.
Mind you it's weather permitting.Goddamn snow ..again..

They should make a Movie....."SNOWAH"..Russell Crowe..

Since I got the IPhone the damn thing over-rides everything I got in the Laptop and won't allow me to download anything onto my laptop and then post it.
Plain and simple user error but at this point I got better things to do then to attempt to "Geek squad" my ****.

Yes i have the fd cable.
I dont see why the fd cable wouldn't fit a tii upper, ends are same its jut shorter
No need for that stupid long TII cable without a top mount.

Sell it off people always buying them. I think mine cost me $20 and i got another new cable.

The long cable is horrible i would stare at it every time i opened the hood $20 is cheap i would have paid $100 thats how much better it looks

My problem is the mounting point in the manifold and the point on the throttle body are further apart on the FD setup and the TII cable doesn't reach both mounting points

Forget the brackets on either of them they are no good.
A small adell clamp for aesthetics is all thats needed

There is no clamp in this picture i added one later on the front of the UIM
