third gen upper on turbo 2
I'm doing a S5 turbo 2 swap into my 86' GXL, but instead of my upper manifold and throttle body I'm using a third gen upper and throttle body. I have gasket matched the upper to the lower and I'm going to use a front mount. At the same time I'm using a 87 turbo 2 harness because I'm eliminating the oil injection, anyway the problem I have run into is the difference in plugs with the throttle position sensor. the third gen one has a 4 prong plug were as the second gen has a 3 prong plug. Any ideas/knowlege would help a lot.

When looking directly at the FD TPS (when the push tab release is up), there are 4 pins.

3 - 5V
4 - Signal

thanks for the help guys, I was wondering if anyone has done this on their turbo 2 on the forum, I have seached different wording and haven't been able to find much info about this swap, any results or anything like that.
im actually in the middle of doing it myself, the problem im having now is i need the plug that goes into the TPS, and i think my TPS has 6 prongs, does that mean that it came off a automatic?can i use it? the sap is kind of a head ache but aslong as you have everything from the gate it should be easy...as for info on doing it there is some on the site....
