theft deterrent mode HELP!!!

theft deterrent mode HELP!!!

I have a 90 fc and my car is stuck in theft deterrent mode and no matter what i do it will not stop. How can i reset or stop this ****??? For background info, and please no flaming i am already beyond happy, i am wiring in my msd for my sbc and tied in my key on at a black and red wire then all hell broke loose. Any help is greatly appreciated!

IIRC you need to use the key to open the hatch.

The security system ecu is located behind the driver's side kick panel. Just unplug the harness. It'll quit. Nothing else is affected. Mine no longer works either and that's all I had to do.

Turning the key in the hatch or either door lock will reset the factory security system if everything is in good working order.

Mine didn't. I couldn't get it to go off. That's why I had to disconnect the alarm ecu. I suspect that's what's happening to him too.

tried putting key in door, opening hatch, unplugging theft ecu none of it worked. i will try again though

If you really did unplug the anti theft ecu, I would have shut off as there is nothing to tell it to stay on at that point. Make sure you unplugged the correct connector.

thanks, i got it. the battery was low and i had a bad main ground after i relocated the battery
