Tell me all about your rear strut bars!
You know how you can get the front strut bars for so cheap on eBay? Is that possible for rear ones, too?
Otherwise, what are you guys doing for this? What prices are you seeing? How involved is the install?

They use to have a carbon fiber one for sale. Not sure how functional it is considering it just parallel's the floor. It looks good thou and doesn't hurt to have it. I just made one to double as my harness bar and strut bar.

Cusco<sp?> ones are nice and they are wrapped in cf but I think they are about $160 <kinda much> and you have to put holes in the rear strut towers to install them.
You could always make your own pretty easily, just a threaded aluminum tube or some angle iron and some custom end peices

PM Scott Mackenzie, or check out his website at 1300cc.com
He installed a rear strut tower brace recently, doubt he has formed any real opinions on it yet though.

its funny, i built a rear strut tower brace out of some home depot supply. I took some galvanized pipe and some anchors. Bolted the anchors the to car and used pipe wrenches to tighten down the brace. =]

I have the Cusco non-CF one.  I had to drill holes (2" diameter) into the rear shock towers.
Whatever the case, you HAVE to drill holes in the shock towers.  The most unobtrusive bar that I know of is the Mazdaspeed one that you need to drill a couple of bolt holes through the shock tower and you run brackets on both sides - one for the strut tower and one for the bar itself.

corksport just came out with one for like $80
I just installed a used cusco CF one (never pay that much new!!) it's light as hell but not as stiff as the alum one.
I have pics on my site in the how to's.

It's a very simple install.
