Tein Vs. Tanabe

Which lowering spring is better? They both cost the same and will drop the same. But which one gives better performance for road coarse racing?

i hear bad things about RB springs. And they arent very cost effective.

So i narrowed things down to Tein and Tanabe

hmm

I enjoy my RB + KYB AGX. I think Eibach springs are cheaper then the RB ones. But, I would go for RB or Eibach. GL.

ground control. my racing beat is definately better than stock, but not really stiff enough if you are looking for performance springs i think. wish i had gotten something stiffer. i wonder how much stiffer the RB vert springs are.

Being the cheap bastard I am, I have Tanabe GF210's and Tokico blues. I"m really happy with the ride. When you first see the Tanabe's, they look like progressive rate, but the softer portion completely compresses once you put the car on it's wheels. It gives you extra spring travel over the bumps. This is on my daily driver, and my commute is almost 40 miles of mountain road with some porely paved tight one lane twisties. I'm really happy with how the seven responds with the new setup.

Of course, I am comparing it to worn out stock springs and shocks.

I've got the same setup and I love how my car rides, soft enough to save my back but stiff enough to have fun around corners

For road racing? Neither if you're serious.

I have the tanabe gf210 and kyb agxs and i love em. Stiffest "street" springs availible and has a very nice drop. Shocks affect comfort more than springs so cant really comment on that. For the mtn roads i drive on, any stiffer then it would skip over the bumps but seems like im lucky and its just right
