if you can still not get it then don't.

the FD fuel pump is overkill for the n/a and will result in less hp and less fuel economy. even in stock form the n/a runs on the rich side, with an upgraded fuel pump it will be even moreso.

if im busy just keep calling.. :P

IF you want more power, get a header for that car.... this thread reminds me so much of when I first got my vert running again after completely redoing half the car... it was a pain doing all the diagnostics, but in the end I learned so much, it really helped me when I got my TII.

 

well.... thanks guys but what I did since I work at a shop that purchases more then 10k of parts a month from our parts distributor... i took my stock one into work and told them i had a deffective fuel pump they sent over last summer.. they exchanged it without any hesitation and gave me another year warantee... see its real hard to track everything we buy so if they cant find it they usually believe our word and swallow the cost

it took and extra day to get so... why not?

anyone else wanna gimmy a free fuel pump?

 

how much in total did you spend on the rebuild and all the parts for the fc ? im interested in doing this myself one day and wanted a price range to look into

 

the reman was about 1500.. buy we got all new intake n exhaust gaskets n new vacuum hoses... new injectors and all maintnance taken care of... no more then 2k? just time n patience

 

make sure you have some diagnosing tools cuz something always happens

 

whats with the intake looking tube in the hatch?

 

i looked at it and at first i thought it had smoke coming out of the tube and im like its a bong for sure lol but i dont know , and thanks smog guy

Hahahahah ... Chilllll guys. My cousin went away for college n I took his intake to take his carb sticker to put on my intercooler aaaannndddd... I just never gave it back

it worked tho... Holds carpets up nice

we got the reman from a local guy here in SF bay area... has a lot of ads on craigslist and ive bought a couple other parts off him prior to the engine. his name is Pete... since Ben is doing like 500 rebuilds at the moment
